Description : AMC Billing Services, LLCPosition: Accounts Receivable Specialists – $250 SIGN ON BONUS*Experience: 1-2 years in medical ARSalary Range: DOE*Remote Work Available*AMC Billing Services, LLC is looking for an individual who is proficient in accounts receivable management of government, commercial and patient payers. We are looking for an individual who illustrates personal qualities of integrity, credibility, accountability, and commitment to our company. This position is a full-time position, hours available 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM M-F.Essential Functions: Resolve insurance denials by resubmitting corrected claims, submitting medical records, and writing appeals letters in a timely mannerFollow-up with insurance companies on any unpaid claimsMonitor claims for denial trends to prevent future denials, and ensure efficient claim processingManages insurance claims by running aging reportsAssist to resolve client discrepancies by providing efficient customer serviceReconcile customer disputes as they pertain to outstanding balances that are dueProcess monthly delinquency noticesWeekly and monthly reporting to direct supervisorMeet defined department goalsPerform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Accounts Receivable DepartmentRequired Skills: Knowledge of insurance and medical terminologyExperienced with government payers (Medicare, Medicaid,) managed care plans, commercial payers, and self-pay accountsMust be self-directed and able to work independentlyStrong attention to detail, goal orientedExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilitiesRequired Education: High school or equivalentEEOThis organization does not discriminate in any way to deprive any person of employment opportunities or otherwise adversely affect the status of any employee because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, genetic information, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, citizenship, veteran status, or military or uniformed services, in accordance with all applicable governmental laws and regulations.
