Description : App DirectorReports ToThis position reports to CEO & CTO.Job OverviewThe App Director is responsible for all aspects of development, maintenance, and perpetual review of the IRAFI mobile app’s overall functionality. As the app is our primary portal for client onboarding and account maintenance, it is critical for the health of the business to ensure the app is performing as expected. An affective App Director will be able to lead in partnership with the app project team and app developer in the form of update requests, new development initiatives and details from third parties, and in working with executive team, see a plan through the entire production process to delivery.Responsibilities and DutiesIn direct consult with CEO & CTO, prioritize updates and new items for the app, scheduling for production accordinglyWork directly with app development team to keep production on schedule and provide necessary guidance and directionProduce development blueprints for all updates/new introductions to the appCoordinate testing schedule and build protocolsSupervise, support, and develop policies for the app support teamStrategize solutions as business needs present themselvesPartner with and guide third party vendors providing services to the appOversees metrics recordkeepingPresent full app update to executive team weeklyStrategic planning: looking ahead 6 months or longer to assure bandwidth and resources are appropriate for upcoming developmentSupervise and guide testing proceduresPartner with all internal team members providing support or workshopping best practices for new initiatives as they occurResponsible for directing all communications regarding the mobile app, including status, updates, and bug issuesAttend weekly management meetings providing app updates and additional support as requiredQualificationsEducation: College education preferredExperience: Minimum 5 years in a similar position focused on project management and/or project implementationAbility to effectively manage, motivate, and coach app support team membersExcellent communication and organizational skills requiredPrior software quality assurance testing experience requiredPrior quality assurance testing in mobile app environmentFamiliarity with iOS and Android platformsBackground in technical support troubleshooting and problem solving requiredExcellent customer support skillsStrategic problem-solving skillsHigh-level proof-reading skillsExcellent interpersonal skills requiredJob Type: Full-timePay: $45,000.00 – $50,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee discountFlexible scheduleHealth insuranceHealth savings accountPaid time offParental leaveVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftSupplemental Pay:Bonus payEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Management: 5 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
