Description : One full-time (37 hours) maternity cover position – North Bristol.
Two part-time (18.5 hours) permanent positions – South & East/Central Bristol.

Based at Ridingleaze House (North Bristol – BS11 0QE), Symes House (South Bristol – BS14 0EE) and Welsman (East Central Bristol – BS2 9JA), our teams work with vulnerable children and their families who are subject to statutory intervention.
We require Children’s Social Care Assistants with a talent for administration and an interest in working with children and families, to take the opportunity to join a small team of Social Workers and Support Workers who deliver services to vulnerable children.
You will need strong organisation and administrative skills, a capacity to work under pressure, and a desire to be part of a small team who deliver statutory services to families.
Good communication skills and an ability to use initiative to support the work of the team, are essential qualities.
You will lead the administrative functions of the team under the direction of the Consultant Social Worker.
Key skills necessary are being able to use spreadsheets, upload performance information onto a database, administer basic finance process, and take minutes at meetings.
Please note that this role is subject to an Enhanced DBS Check.
