Position: Consultant (Business Analyst)
Hiring Location: KGS
Solution: Low-Code (Digital Enablement)
Overview of role:
The Business Analyst (BA), will be responsible for working with the product manager/owner to define, design and implement digital products for the clients. The digital platforms include mobile app, customer portals, biz. applications and digital platforms. This role will involve direct client interaction (through offshore delivery model) to conceptualize the user journey and gather requirements. As a part of the role, the BA is expected to collaborate and work in a set-up of cross-functional teams to deliver digital products on a low-code platform by following Agile Frameworks and DevOps practices.
Key responsibilities
Collaborate with the product manager/owner and clients to define and document digital product requirements and specifications via business flow, user stories and technical specifications
Support the product manager/owner in managing the product backlog and conducting relevant scrum ceremonies
Participate in discovery meetings with clients and prospects to understand and document their business requirements and manage associated questions/clarifications
Map business requirements to system requirements
Ensure the developer and tester team understand the user journeys and user stories (from a technical and functional perspective)
Work as an agile team member, managing, and executing a variety of tasks
Perform light configurations using low-code platform such as Outsystems, MS Power Apps, Appian etc. (note – KPMG will provide the required enablement training for low code platforms)
Work with product manager/owner to train and familiarize end-users on the digital products
Identify and mitigate risk/issues and escalate to project manager / scrum master / tech lead as required
Prior experience and skillset:
Familiarity to agile frameworks, including scrum ceremonies is a distinctive advantage
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (including oral, written and presentation skills), including ability to demo a product
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and logical thinking skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
Experience of working through the software development life cycle (waterfall/Agile) across all phases including design, development, testing, implementation, deployment, maintenance
Experience of working in an onsite-offshore model
