This is an exciting time to join our organisation. Based on the Isle of Wight, we are looking to recruita dynamic and ambitious Consultant Urologist to help strengthen our service. The successful candidate will join visiting Consultant Urologists from Portsmouth, who already provide services on the island. We are also expanding our team of nurse specialists and investing in new ways of working.
Our Strategic Partnership with Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust is designed for both organisations to work together to deliver improvements to services and enhance clinical excellence for a combined population of 800,000.
Both organisations are committed to a collaborative model of service delivery for Urology, with a key objective of providing equity of care and clinical outcomes for urological patients across the Partnership. Working closely with colleagues on both sites, the successful candidates will be integral to the team and will be closely involved in future service developments. In addition to providing general urology and uro-oncology services to the core island population, there are opportunities to work in Portsmouth to accommodate sub-specialty interests should post holders wish to do so.
Outside of work, the south coast is a great place to live. Whether it is Portsmouth with its historic military character, Southampton, the enchanting New Forest or the tranquillity of the Isle of Wight, there is much on offer for our successful candidates.
