What do we offer ?
The Container Native Services team at aims to provide a rich set of services and tools to enable building and deploying of Cloud Services as containerized workloads and manage the entire development and deployment lifecycle. Oracle’s Container Engine for Kubernetes, Oracle Serverless and API Gateway are the flagship offerings from this organization. We are building new services to provide an App Development Platform, Service Mesh and services that Resource Governance and Compliance services .

Who are we looking for ?
A strong candidate will have
A degree in Computer Science or Engineering
15+ years of experience building software,
Three plus years of working on architecture of systems that scale and work well in a larger ecosystem
Eight plus years of experience delivering and operating large scale, highly available distributed systems.
Demonstrate leadership in design, decision making and taking up ownership of outcome based on decisions
Ability to deal with ambiguity and craft a way forward on sparse data and make reasonable assumptions
Demonstrate troubleshooting skills and an ability to deliver quality code
Experience working on multi-tenant, virtualized infrastructure a strong plus
Excellent analytical skills and willingness to look at alternate paths to a solution
have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will be results-driven and thrive in a collaborative environment, even when faced with ambiguity.
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Define specifications for significant new projects and specify, design and develop software according to those specifications. You will perform professional software development tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.
