Key Responsibilities Role Description
We are looking for a Product Development and Success Lead to join our Corporate Innovations and Venturing Group (CVIG). In this role, you will own one new product area and your primary job responsibility would be to take this specific product from MVP to a ratified product with multiple successful Enterprise customer wins.
The product is a patent pending cloud based mobile end point defense product targeting IoT and Enterprises users. You will help us meet the requirements of our rapidly growing customer base and be game changers in the security space. You must possess a blend of business and technical skills, have a big-picture vision and the drive to make that vision a reality with extreme attention to detail. This role consists of both inbound Product development and management responsibilities – working with internal cross functional teams or external resources to build and enhance the product at the right cost and in a scalable manner. As well as outbound responsibilities interacting with customers, executing go-to-market strategy, and supporting sales
Key Responsibilities
End-to-end product lifecycle management from strategic planning to tactical activities
Define, document, and prioritize product requirements based on market research, study of competitor offerings / value proposition / gaps and customer feedback
Translate these into a clear product roadmap with milestone planning and execution
Define and execute on a winning product architecture that offers a more integrated and differentiating position in the market vis-à-vis competition
Be a self-starter, should have the ability to operate independently with minimal direction and do whatever it takes to make the product successful in the market
This is an individual contributor role but requires the incumbent to be extremely resourceful in sourcing support from engineering, app development, and other teams within Tata Communications on product development and deployment activities
Key Responsibilities
Work with operations and sales lead to drive customer POCs and deals wins while deploying the product / new features in beta and production, utilizing AGILE principles
Shape and implement a go-to-market plan for your products in collaboration with the Innovation leadership and sales lead
Take appropriate pricing decisions that maximize customer wins while ensuring a path to product profitability
Working closely with finance and internal teams, to ensure billing readiness, ensure collections and optimize product’s financials, revenue, and margins
Maintain robust documentation, including product collaterals and technical documentation, for both internal and external use
Engage with customers and partners, lead product and technical discussions, setup and drive POCs to success and learning, provide techno-commercial proposals, address any unmet needs and drive customer wins and success
Stay ahead of competition and continuously keep himself or herself abreast of key developments and shifts in the market, leading to making changes in our approach
Key Responsibilities
Ensure regular communication with senior stakeholders and relevant cross functional teams on product developments and milestone achievements
Work with Tata Communications’ business units to identify and drive product level synergies to ensure strategic alignment and maximize success
Write blog posts and papers related to product and technology to build thought leadership
Work closely with Marketing and Sales Enablement to roll out technical trainings for technical sales as well as support organization
You have (Qualification and exp)
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering (telecommunications or electrical), MBA is a plus
7-12+ years of experience in product architecture / design, development and management, with 5-7 years of experience as a technical product lead, with demonstrated experience in networking or security fields, technical expertise with VPN, proxies, firewall and load balancing products. Hands on expertise with one of the public cloud infrastructures (ex. AWS, Azure etc.)
Should have demonstrated experience in driving product development, roadmap and roll out, with full ownership, and no merely worked on other OEM products as a solutions specialist
Good technical foundation in networking and network security technologies (e.g., Secure Web Gateways, Firewalls, DLP, SIEM, CASB, Security Analytics, etc.) will be preferable
Experience of working in an Agile, startup culture is strongly preferred
Experience in developing and delivering products as cloud-based services
Strong attention to detail and good communication skills (verbal and written) – must be able to communicate at a business and technical level with internal teams, customers, partners, and executives
Leadership, drive, passion, and charisma – ability to persuade, sell ideas and lead without authority
