How can we make the App Store a place our hundreds of millions of customers will want to visit every single day? We’re hiring people to help make that happen. Apple is looking for a digital marketer to work on the App Store Digital Advertising team to help develop media plans, uncover tactical insights and coordinate global projects. You will play a key, cross-functional role and represent the App Store as we work closely with the larger Apple Services Digital Marketing team, analytics and our agencies for all App Store advertising campaigns – spanning acquisition, engagement and monetization. You have experience working against both awareness and direct-response campaign objectives and can strike the perfect balance of the two to drive scale.
Key Qualifications
3-5 years in digital advertising, with recent experience in managing media campaigns
Proven experience in performance marketing, managing towards revenue KPI(s)
Experience with optimization strategies, and a proven track record of identifying synergies between performance channels (Social, Search, Display, etc.) for impact
Ability to think critically about measurement and applying it to campaign tactics
Experience working with both an internal team and external media agency
Knowledge of the mobile app advertising ecosystem (programmatic, social, etc)
Creativity in advertising, problem solving, and story telling
Meticulous organization and project management skills
Clear and effective communication when working cross-functionally
Comfort with a fast-paced cadence, working across a wide breadth of initiatives
Willingness to travel as required
High-level presentation and post-campaign analysis skills
You will share in the team’s responsibility for the digital media strategy across Apple’s App Store initiatives, working globally with partners. You will sit on the App Store Digital Advertising team within the larger App Store Marketing team. You will represent App Store’s media needs in agency meetings, vendor outreach, and in any performance readouts. You will be responsible for working on and often leading agency briefings, quarterly business reviews, budget planning, and campaign reporting. You’ll partner with in-house channel leads, agency partners, designers, marketing analysts, etc. to execute and report against your team’s plans. Ultimately, your success will be measured by your ability to drive acquisition, conversion, and engagement through digital campaigns. This is an important role within one of the fastest-growing divisions at Apple. The right candidate is a hungry, creative, and effective marketer with leadership qualities and a strategic view towards the growth and development of both the service and their team.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
