Rain is starting its India foray and is looking to hire Sales Development Representatives to build its India Inside Sales Team. The ideal candidate is a competitive self-starter that brings dynamic thinking and well-honed work ethic to the table. Must be able to leverage CRM data to segment target audiences, trigger campaigns and personalize content to aid the team in outreach. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and presenting. Ability to not only survive, but to thrive in a rapidly changing environment is key, as Rain is a new company in a disruptive industry. Keen organizational skills, resourcefulness and a desire to be on the cutting edge of new technology are must-haves for this role.
Utilize existing data in CRM to set up campaigns and test different content and outreach strategies for effectiveness
Source new leads through research, and contact executive-level prospects via outbound cold calls, emails and digital channels.
Qualify leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, trade shows, etc.
Identify decision makers within targeted leads to begin sales process
Assist in formulating and designing email (drip) campaigns, account based marketing campaigns, presentations, case studies, newsletters, event support material and brochures
Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities
Provide thoughtful feedback to management and product team on market response
Enter, update, and maintain CRM information on leads, prospects, and opportunities
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business
Minimum 3 years of B2B inside sales experience in the Indian market
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work
Experience with marketing automation systems (HubSpot/Marketo etc.) is a plus
Experience in pitching SaaS or HCM solutions is a plus
Experience in pitching to large enterprises is a plus
Existing Connects with CXOs in large enterprises in India is a plus
