High-Level Job Description
The Event Support Specialist role is perfect for a proactive, detail oriented person, one who thrives in a fast-paced event services delivery environment. We offer on-the-job training where you’ll be exposed to all facets event operations including event logistics, pre-event preparation and testing and onsite operational support. We are looking for a great fit within the Aventri Professional Services team and the company’s event-driven culture. As a contributor of the Aventri Professional Services team, it is essential that you are a team player and will ‘go the extra mile’ for customer satisfaction. Does this sound like you?
Work with Project Management, Warehouse, Onsite, and Development teams to prepare event for onsite execution.
Evaluating and testing registration, session scanning lead retrieval, Exhibitor Resource Centers software, as well as any integration settings between other Aventri software and 3rd parties with the onsite solutions, to verify that the software functions to specifications and standards according to event statement of work.
Work with team and Project managers to identify, analyze, and correct errors, and inconsistencies in software, badges, and equipment to be deployed onsite to ensure smooth prepped onsite deployment.
Travel up to 25% to deliver Aventri solutions onsite at client events.
Work with cross functional teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time.
Assist with tasks in office and warehouse as needed

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Fundamental understanding of registration websites, badging and onsite/in-person event deployment, a plus.
Previous experience in QA testing a plus.
Previous experience in an event operations or warehouse industry is a plus.
Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
