To ensure our team always feels heard by the leadership team and valued as an employee, we frequently solicit and apply feedback.Varicent is looking for an innovative, energetic, and sales-focused Director, Field Marketing for our European, Middle East, and African (EMEA) regions, with a talent for understanding regional sales needs and meeting those needs through effective partnership, strategy and execution.Reporting to the CMO and working closely with the EMEA General Manager, the Director, Field Marketing EMEA will be responsible for driving EMEA pipeline growth and conversion. You will own the EMEA Marketing strategy and execution including (but not limited to) digital marketing, database/email marketing, localized content, and events. You will be supported by Global Marketing teams located in North America and able to pull through significant assets and activity including global campaigns and will manage a discretionary budget to produce and execute EMEA-only assets and activity.This is both a strategic role and involves hand on involvement in day-to-day activities such as directly planning and executing initiatives to increase customer acquisition, maximizing pipeline generation, and improving EMEA marketing ROI through efficient investment. Our EMEA regional footprint is growing, and with this rolled filled with a successful candidate it is expected to grow faster and the Director, Field Marketing will be required to begin building their own team.What you will doMeet or exceed our quarterly, half-year, and annual plans to grow pipeline for EMEA sales teams.Define the EMEA needs from corporate marketing, product marketing, demand marketing, marketing operations, and content marketing to ensure regional sales support.Ensure the EMEA field marketing assets and activity adheres to global brand marketing standards and is aligned to product marketing strategy.Ensure our global partner marketing strategy can be effectively deployed regionally by enabling our resellers with campaign components and guidelines.Help global marketing functions refine their strategy based on regional feedback.Partner with the VP Sales EMEA on territory planning.Ensure effective collaboration across marketing and sales for EMEA marketing campaign execution or global marketing campaign execution in EMEA.Improve field marketing campaign efficiency in terms of ROI and CAC: LTV.Work closely with global content marketing and demand marketing (web) on translation and transcreation needs.Manage the EMEA field marketing budget and hiring plan.Be an advocate for the EMEA sales team and help the rest of marketing understand their goals and priorities.Be an advocate for global marketing and help the EMEA sales team understand their goals priorities.Ensure field marketing contributes productively to the quarterly business reviews of the sales team they support.What you will bring7+ years’ experience in marketing roles of increasing responsibilityPeople management experienceStrong communication skills.
