Description : We are currently looking for a Front Desk Receptionist/Administrator for our West Los Angeles Wellness office. We are a Wellness Center focusing on Chiropractic, Acupuncture, Massage Therapy and Decompression therapy. We support medical freedom. Hours: Monday through Friday 7:30am-4:30pmTasks this position entails: -Data entry-Data/Stat tracking-Coordinating patient flow throughout office-Patient registration-Greets patients and directs them to appropriate departments-Answers multiple phone lines; directs calls and takes messages as needed-Verifies patient information and insurance eligibility; collects copays.-Directs patients to complete forms and processes patient-related paperwork-Informs providers of no shows and cancellations-Makes follow-up appointments for patients and calls patients to confirm appointments-Contacts no show patients and reschedules appointments as appropriate-Performs various front-office duties in a fast-paced, customer-oriented clinical environment, as assigned-Prepares patient’s chart upon patient arrival.-Schedules appointments and enters appointment date and time into computerized scheduler with a high rate of accuracy.-Registers patients by verifying that patient’s record is up to date and accurate.-Makes appropriate changes in computer system.-Reminds patients of appointment and notifies patients of change in appointment date via telephone or email.-Enters confidential personal health information and financial information into computerized system with a high rate of accuracy.-Complies with federal and local laws in ensuring patient privacy.-Collects payment from patients, applies payments and adjustments to patient accounts in the computer system, and reconciles daily cash reports.-Enters treatment authorizations into the computer system.-Organizes and prepares documents necessary for the following day’s clinic.-Provides exemplary customer service: treats patients, visitors and coworkers with courtesy and discretion.-Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications Required: -An outgoing personality!-Ability to be highly flexible, travel for trainings-Skill in using a PC with associated programs including Word, Excel, and E-mail, demonstrated work experience with a database computer program-Skill in setting priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities-Ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with Faculty, Staff, Administration, and patients from various social, cultural, and economic backgrounds-Ability to creatively integrate competing demands into a productive working environment-Skill in verbal communications to clearly convey complex problems in both formal and informal situationsJob Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hourBenefits:Employee discountPaid time offMedical Specialty:Physical & Rehabilitation MedicineSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayCOVID-19 considerations:We DO NOT require proof of Covid-19 vaccination.
