The roles offer a function support analyst who will work on directly with business users. Purpose of this role is to provide functional support to the Global clients implemented for BNPPCIB for Equity and settlements.
BO, MO, Accounting, Reporting are listed as cline for this role. All the functional business issues raised by users will be handled by the responsible person. This includes issues within calypso for
Settlement of bonds, equities, warrant and other products.
Respective accounting systems
Reporting & Treasury.
As Support analyst, primary responsibilities is the functional level investigation of the batch and functional user queries. Finding bug which should hamper the business functionalities and escalating it to appropriate teams.
Direct Responsibilities
Provide eminent support to all users of all application system in a timely and efficient manner.
Liase with the developers and business analysts to communicate issues raised by the business.
Communicating with the global team to resolve issues.
Maintain a knowledge base regarding support issues and their resolution using SharePoint or other collaboration tools.
Build a working knowledge of the systems and business area in order to provide a high level of support.
Reconfiguring various existing setups in order to improve the efficiency of the system and to cohere to business requests.
Track issues effectively using ITIL approved methodology (Incidents, Problems, Requests and Changes).
Preparing environments for releases and ensuring that the implementation and pre-production tests are carried out.
The systems which team supports are classified as Tier 1 (business critical) which requires very flexible approach to work as we have to support the systems as well as undertake project work.
Contributing Responsibilities
Operating on EMEA Based hours to support the business in APAC and EUROPE. This involves a rotational shifts that works early from 05:30-06:30 am IST and the late shift starting from 12:30-01:30 pm IST.
Coordinate with other internal teams, clients and vendors in order to respond to incidents and resolve issues promptly so as to restore normal services to the business.
Ensure root cause analysis is undertaken for all incidents. Manage problem and action tickets.
Perform BAU tasks with a eminent quality in incident management.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies
Core UBIX requirements:
Good knowledge of FIS GLOBAL’s(ex. SUNGARD) UBIX App from Back office perspective.
Understand the basics of BackOffice systems in investment banking.
Functional requirements :
Good knowledge of Clearing and settlements.
Good knowledge of products like equities , bonds ,repo, SLAB and other Fixed income products
Trade life cycle (from Investment banking perspective )
Technical requirements:
Good hold on SQL ( mandatory )
Unix OS + Shell scripting ( basic to intermediary )
Python ( good to have )
