Job Description:
J.S. Held LLC., is seeking a Global Payroll Specialist based in Dubai – this candidate must be authorized to work in this location now and in the future. This person will process global payroll for our offices around the globe. This position will foster relationships and work collaboratively not only with ADP but also with Finance, HR and other stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
Implement and maintain payroll information to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, changes to pay rates, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
Manage and administer payroll for employees – in our offices around the world – APAC and EMEA regions – on our payroll system, including inputting changes, processing semi-monthly payrolls, tracking payroll approvals, ensuring timelines are met, and accurate reporting of transactions.
Administer payroll information and processes for employees in UAE, UK, Spain, Germany, Malaysia, Singapore, India. Support LATAM and North America payroll.
Bespoke reporting including distribution of semi-monthly and monthly payroll reports to applicable departments.
Liaison with our internal HR, and Finance departments.
Act as lead point of contact for all payroll related inquiries.
Attributes & Background:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
5+ years of in-house payroll experience with demonstrable knowledge of processing and administering of global payroll for employees in different offices around the world.
A solid understanding of payroll processes and state, local and international laws pertaining to payroll administration for at least 3 of the following countries: UAE, UK, Spain, Germany, Malaysia, Singapore, India. LATAM and North America payroll is a plus.
Experience working for a global organization with more than 1000 employees.
International payroll experience and working with global payroll vendors is required.
Exceptional writing, communication and collaboration skills.
Flexibility to work across time zones globally.
Exceptional organizational skills which include an ability to multitask and be process oriented.
Must have proficiency in MS Office, specifically: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Working experience with ADP Workforce Now and application reporting tools strongly preferred.
Responsible for compliance of payroll practices and policies.
Bespoke projects and reports, as needed.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
