Mental Health and Learning Disability Services
The services provide high quality nursing care to patients with a variety of physical and psychological needs in hospital or community, across NHS Lothian. They adopt a holistic approach to patient care in safe and therapeutic environments.
Critical Care – Acute Hospitals
Busy, dynamic, highly skilled multi-professional teams delivering quality care in Intensive Care Units, High Dependency Units and Surgical High Dependency Units across NHS Lothian Acute Hospital sites (The Western General, Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and St John’s Hospital, Livingston)
East Lothian Community Hospital
Built on the site of the former Roodlands Hospital in Haddington, ELCH’s services include hospital based complex continuing care, older people’s general and orthopaedic rehabilitation, step-down units, intermediate care and psychiatric services.
Royal Hospital for Children and Young People
Opportunities have arisen to work in the busy and highly skilled multi-professional Emergency Department and the Multi-Speciality Outpatients Department within RHCYP. The service provides high quality family centered nursing care to patients with a variety of physical and psychological needs.
Musselburgh Primary Care Centre, Community Vaccination Team
The post holder will assist members of the Community Vaccination Team (CVT) in their direct work with clients, carers and families delivering vaccinations to a range of people, in a variety of settings across the whole of NHS Lothian. These venues include Primary and Secondary Schools across Lothian
