Clarify Health is looking for a Healthcare Data Analyst to focus on the ingestion, mapping, and analysis of claims and clinical data.

The Role
Working with Clarify Health customers and prospects on data ingestion, mapping and analysis
Collaborating with customers and internal stakeholders from product, engineering and data science teams, to review and document business and technical requirements
Mapping (defining ETL rules), analyzing, and interpreting claims and clinical data
Implementing ETL processes in Clarify Health’s data pipeline
Testing and QA of all steps of processing
What we are looking for
We are always looking for new team members who will add to our culture and have a strong passion for impact. In particular, the Healthcare Data Analyst will have:
2-3 years of professional work experience, with at least 2 years being in healthcare
Solid understanding of Medical Claims, Rx Claims, Clinical Data, Eligibility, Provider Data and related processes
Strong SQL or equivalent querying skills
Familiarity with clinical coding systems: ICD9/10 diagnosis codes, ICD9/10 procedure codes, CPT codes, revenue codes, provider NPI codes, NDC Rx codes
Ability to work independently and be a self-starter in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Experience documenting ETL mappings and similar documents to provide data lineage and data transformation logic
Experience development, testing, and deploying software changes for production users preferred
Understanding of claims adjudication process in a health care environment
