Description : We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and highly motivated to join our friendly team here at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital in the City of London. Where we treat both NHS and self-funded patients from our local community and further afield.
The Embryology Team is compromised of seven HCPC registered clinical scientists, three who are working towards their registration, and three trainees.
Barts Health Centre for Reproductive Medicine is an Health Educastion England (HEE) accredited training centre and currently have several trainees enrolled in the Scientist Training Programme (STP) in Reproductive Science.
There is also the opportunity to become involved in research projects such as; Bart’s Charity funded Time Lapse Imaging Trial (TILT).
We provide a seven day week service which involves working one weekend per month and complete about 1,000 treatment cycles per year. Applicants must enjoy working within a multi-disciplinary team, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be a strong team players, able to work independently and have good attention to detail, in order to deliver a high quality laboratory service to our patients.

To provide, along with the clinical staff, a comprehensive Assisted Conception service (ACU).
To undertake a range of standard operating procedure (SOP) driven activities and to support the clinical embryologists within the Bart’s Hospital Embryology and Andrology laboratories.
The main activities performed by the practitioner will be in 4 areas: the Embryology laboratory, Andrology laboratory, Quality Control and Administration.
Activities will be performed under the direction of a Senior Clinical Embryologist.
