Description : Wellspring Nurse Source is a fast-growing healthcare staffing company focused on serving the healthcare travel community. We are seeking a Healthcare Credentialing Specialist with a magnetic personality and a cheerful and positive disposition to join our current team. This is a remote position collaborating with our Human Resource Department as well as our Traveling Healthcare Professionals and Account Managers to acquire and maintain all pre-employment and onboarding documentation. Must thrive as a self-motivated team player comfortable working in a fast-paced environments.Responsibilities: Responsible for onboarding documents Review travelers start dates and confirm they are acceptable to meet client/VMS file reviewdeadlines, alerting management to any potential issues Obtain client/VMS compliance requirements Initiate welcome emails to travelers detailing required onboarding documents Ensure consistent documentation and complete verification of traveler’s credentials includingstate licenses, education, pre-employment requirements and certifications prior to start date of assignment with facility Conduct background checks, license and education verifications Arrange for drug screening/pre-employment health testing Assist with locating or scheduling additional testing needed such as titers, immunizations, TDAP, PPDs, etc. Process I9 and e-verify on travelers according to government specifications Communicate with clients/vendors regarding traveler’s compliance Work with tight deadlines Interact with Account Managers, Recruiters, and other credentialing staff. Monitor and track data in the appropriate software/systems in accordance with company and client policy and time frames and ensure all traveler’s required credentials are current, compliant, and filed Adherence to JCAHO standards, tracking and documentation Other duties as assigned by management based on business needsPreferred Candidate profile: 1-4 years’ experience in Healthcare Industry The ideal candidate will be highly driven with superior organization, communication and interpersonal skills. Must be self-motivated, team focused and possess a good attitude.Job Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayExperience:Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)Adobe Acrobat: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: Remote
