Description : Support the emergency services behind the scenes by putting your administration and organisational skills to the test! You’ll be working as a supportive team delivering a wide variety of HR activities in an opportunity that will boost your career!In the HR Management Assistant job, you will be:First point of contact for general Human Resource enquiries, internal and external, via telephone, virtual platforms, email and postProviding advice and guidance in relation to HR activities & processes, and the employment cycle including starters, leavers, changes to terms and conditions, probationary periods, absence etc.Working with the recruitment team, preparing contracts, offer letters and other recruitment processesDelivering an efficient HR administrative service including data handling, creating reports, invoices, photocopying, filing and archiving etc. ensuring all data is input and maintained accurately relating to attendance management, recruitment, selection and retentionMonitoring and ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and legislationIdentifying process improvements by reviewing current processes and proceduresProcessing leave entitlements (annual, maternity, paternity, parental & special leave requests) and queries for all staffTo be considered for the Human Resources Management Assistant role, you must have:An NVQ Level 3 or an equivalent level of qualification in a relevant subject area (e.g. CIPD, Business Administration) or an equivalent amount of proven and relevant experiencePrevious experience working within a human resources environment using and updating HR systems and the ability to understand, follow processes and proceduresExperience of working in a busy environment providing accurate people related administrative supportThe ability to maintain confidentiality and have a basic understanding of GDPR and knowledge of employment lawExcellent IT, computer literacy and database skills along with numerical skills in order to create statistical reportsExperience of managing conflict and sensitive issues and achieving positive outcomesStrong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills along with the ability to prioritise, use own initiative and work under pressure and to deadlinesA full UK Driving licence with the ability to travel throughout North WalesThe ability to hold a conversation in Welsh at Level 2 or preferably fluently. If not already demonstrated, this is to be achieved within a 12-month probationary period, with support providedThis is a full-time, permanent role working 37 hours per week on a salary of £22,627- £24,491 annum per annum plus company benefits.
