About the Job / Some of the things you’ll do
This role will be based out of UK. As an HR Business Partner, you’ll grow your strategic HR capabilities by supporting multiple business groups across EMEA and partnering closely with managers and their teams. You will be instrumental in driving the strategic people and talent initiatives to help the organization deliver accelerated growth, profitability and market share gains. This role is responsible for translating organizational priorities into defined specific actions for attracting, developing and retaining talent critical to the success of the company.
What success looks like
Build deep insights of an organization’s design, talent, goals, values, processes and culture to recommend new HR approaches that effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of HR within the company
Manage the employee onboarding and offboarding processes to enhance new and departing employee experience
Be a champion to drive inclusion and diversity within the organization supporting and/or creating initiatives
Manage employee benefits, including enrollment and general employee queries for allocated countries
Closely partner with business leaders to understand business goals and company initiatives and recommend innovative HR approaches to enable the organization to achieve these goals
Model, influence and implement HR solutions focused on improving items such as engagement, talent management and leadership development, that align to company culture and strategic priorities
Create and implement HR solutions that enable leaders to that help their organization deliver results eg. employment solutions in new markets, improving employee experience, and elevating talent management
Dive into the organization to assess and understand retention risk, key talent, organizational bench strength, and gauge employee engagement
Partner with managers on items such as, employee relations, talent bench strength improvement, organizational design, succession planning, talent development, retention assessments and talent reviews
Be a trusted advisor. Lead and support employee relations matters including workplace investigations
Support the roll out of key projects such as new global timekeeping systems across the region.
Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to implement and contribute to HR initiatives and programs, by leveraging expertise of the organization you support to ensure adaptation across your business groups
Develop leadership effectiveness. Elevate manager capabilities by coaching leaders on day-to-day management and Team Performance Model (TPM) to improve followership and overall employee engagement. Coach, guide, lead the development of talent through influencing leaders in the organization
Have a continuous improvement mindset. Use key HR business systems, metrics and workforce analytics to identify areas of needed improvement and support the creation and execution of improvement actions
Previous experience working as a Human Resource Business Partner with experience across a region (such as EMEA) driving strategic HR initiatives.
Fluency in English
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
Demonstrated ability to understand an organization’s operations and functions, as well as the industry and competitive environment in which the organization operates
Demonstrated ability to support a positive work environment with careful and professional communication
Proven ability to generate consensus across diverse parties, influence high-impact decisions, provide critical feedback, and lead difficult conversations
Experience successfully applying creative HR solutions to solve root cause problems and deliver breakthrough results
Ability to independently handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, while successfully balancing the achievement of short-term objectives with longer-term strategic organizational goals
Demonstrated high-intensity, high-initiative approach towards owning and driving the people and talent agenda
Appetite and resilience to operate in a fast-paced business environment
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and learn through experience
Demonstrated ability to analyze data and make connections across complex organizational or business concepts, to implement strategy, structure and processes
Ability to navigate between strategic thinking and hands-on execution, as needed
Experience of working with Works Councils is strongly advantageous.
Knowledge of employment law.
Travel: May vary between 10-15%
