We are seeking to employ a Human Resource Coordinator at our busy Garden Centre employing circa 70 Team Members. Hours of work will be between 24 and 30 hours per week and flexible. Reporting to the Managing Director You will need to be experienced in all aspects of HR Management and possess excellent computer skills. You will be well presented, trustworthy, punctual, and love smiling.
Wages will be up to £15 per hour and dependent upon previous experience and prowess although attitude and behaviour rate higher.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
The sourcing and recruitment of all Bell Plantation Team Members.
Writing Job adverts, job specs, training manuals and inductions.
Management of the HR software system, keeping records up to date and supporting the management team.
Liaising between the management team and external HR specialists with regards to contract and any any other issues that arise.
Management of the companies Health and Safety systems, keeping up to date records and ensuring compliance.
As HR coordinator you will be the sole person in the Bell Plantation HR department and expected to work closely with the owners as well as the management team. This is a really exciting opportunity for somebody to take a key role in a small, family run business and gain significant experience at the coal face or running a team in a small business.
