Following the successful deployment of our SuccessFactors mobile HR app, our Supporting Technology and Digital Team in HRIT are looking for a creative HRIT Digital Innovation and Mobile Lead to provide leadership and support for the next stages of our Digital and Mobile HR transformation journey
What you will be doing;
This is a collaborative role, bringing together technical and non-technical teams, to accelerate improvements to the end to end employee journey and mobile experience of our SaaS HR applications.
Working together with the Heads of HR Supporting Technology and Digital, HR Technology Architecture, HR Business Architecture and HR Customer Experience, you will help shape and deliver key components of the Digital HR applications roadmap and strategy, specifically mobile applications, virtual agents, portal/engagement layers and collaboration tools.
You will also take a hands on role in driving innovation and providing IT leadership across a portfolio of SaaS HR mobile applications.
This is not a ‘techie’ role but will require an understanding of SaaS HR platforms, workplace technologies, mobile applications, tech trends and how people interact with technology
Equally important, will be your understanding of service management, cloud governance models and cyber security, ensuring these are designed in across our our HR related mobile offerings.
Whilst primarily a sole contributor role with a reliance on matrix management and influence, there will be some people management responsibilities.
Key responsibilities will include:
Providing portfolio management for our Mobile HR solution offerings and collaborating with project teams to ensure successful delivery of initiatives
Partnering with value stream leads to shape the strategy for aligning HR technology with wider HSBC collaboration and workplace technology, including Mobile Apps, Virtual Agents, Chat Bots, Enterprise Bot Management and Intranets
Establishing measurement frameworks to report on the utilisation and adoption of key HR technology
Representing HRIT at cross-functional Digital Workplace forums and design groups
Establishing processes to manage and progress colleague ideas/feedback submitted via HSBC voice of customer channels
Conducting market research and utilising industry, vendor, consultancy and thought leader insights to identiy emerging trends and innovations in HR and HR Technology
Providing internal consultancy to HR Service Owners and IT Product Managers to shape product backlogs and roadmaps
Driving innovation and proof of concepts across the function
Delivering impactful communications and engagement for senior IT and HR execs, covering, for example, HRIT successess, trends and statistics
Arranging and running HRIT showcases, demonstrations and knowledge shares
Requirements
What you will bring to the role;
To be successful in this role you should bring the “WHAT is next? thinking, asking “HOW do we improve how a person engages with HR?” plus some of the following skills:
Internal or external consulting experience in HR Technology Transformation, including areas such as Core HR, Learning, Benefits, Performance and Reward, Talent, Payroll, Time and Attendance, Recruitment and Onboarding, Employee Insights, Portal/Experience/Interaction layers, Service Management, Mobile, Robotics and Workflow
Experience of implementing Mobile technology within HR domain for large, complex multi-national organisations
Experience of workplace collaboration technology including Chatbots, Workflow and Intranets/Portals
Be a great influencer, with the ability to effect change through networks and matrix structures
Able to develop quantitative and qualitative business cases based on tangible benefit realisation
Strong commercial sense – able to prioritise investment that will deliver the best business outcomes
Skilled in user centred design – able to ensure delivery is aligned to positive customer outcomes
This role will primarily be London based but some travel may be required.
