Description : Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners (“Stonepeak”), a leading asset manager with approximately $43.5 billion under management, has recently acquired Teekay LNG Partners L.P. and, as part of this acquisition, has renamed the company Seapeak LLC. For Seapeak, this transaction will provide improved access to competitively priced capital for both fleet renewal and future growth in the gas space, in addition to opportunities in other marine-based businesses. The successful candidate will be employed by Seapeak and directly support its businesses.Seapeak is one of the world’s largest independent owners and operators of Liquefied Natural Gas (“LNG”) carriers, providing LNG and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (“LPG”) services primarily under long-term, fee-based charter contracts through its interests in 47 LNG carriers, 20 mid-size LPG carriers, and seven multi-gas carriers. Seapeak’s ownership interests in these vessels range from 20 to 100 percent. In addition, Seapeak owns a 30 percent interest in an LNG regasification terminal.Position: Human Resources AdvisorLocation: GlasgowDepartment: Human ResourcesReports to: Director, Human ResourcesPosition SummaryManagement of various human resource functions regionally and globally. Acts as a “front-line” human resource representative for delivery of programs and services to regional line management and employees. This includes implementation of policies and programs in the areas of employee relations, talent management, training and development, recruitment, immigration and relocation. Works with the HR Director to ensure programs are aligned with overall business strategies and requirements.Major ResponsibilitiesRecruitment and Onboarding:Manage recruitment initiatives for specific teams in the business including:Design and implementation of regional candidate sourcing and selection strategies.Ensure accuracy of job descriptions and alignment with corporate standards. Gather information from employees and follow up with managers, as required.Post positions to all relevant sourcing channels and manage candidates through Oracle HCM.Screen CVs, administer Predictive Index surveys, conduct interviews, complete pre-employment checks, and prepare and present offer to successful candidates.Coach hiring managers on candidate selection best practices.Manage relationships and vendor agreements with candidate sources including agencies, universities, associations and local, regional and national organisations.Conduct new hire orientation sessions to ensuring company standards are adhered to.Advise managers on preparing for new hires’ arrival, coordinate probationary reviews and monitor for areas where improvement is necessary.Talent Management, Development, and Engagement:Champion performance management program by coaching employees and managers through performance discussions and delivering training sessions.Assist Manager, Leadership and Development in coordinating leadership development programs.Coordinate mentoring sessions and provide coaching to mentees/mentors.Coordinate global employee engagement survey.Foster employee engagement through participation in wellness committee and social committee.Employee Relations:Support Director, Human Resources in managing employee relations issues providing advice to managers and employees on resolution techniques.
