The opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate, driven and confident HR professional to join our team in Lisbon (Portugal). You will be hands-on and keen to deliver generalist HR activity for our logistics business and will work very closely with the Scoober Country Manager in Portugal and the Scoober Country HRBP in Spain to deliver and implement value-added to the business.
Responsibilities:
Support line managers in the recruitment and selection process where appropriate especially to strengthen our delivery structure and operations across the Country
Develop strong and effective team relationships with the different stakeholders (external and internal)
Support the process of new employee induction session
Conduct ad hoc reviews as directed, with guidance, and propose recommendations in handling employment legislation, compliance, HR systems, practices and procedures.
Participate as assigned in working with Country HRBP in Spain for the day-to-day activities
Implementation of new HR initiatives in coordination with Central HR Teams
Operate as the first point of contact in Scoober Portugal for HR-related queries.
Review monthly payroll is ready to run within the agreed timelines. Process information on starters, leavers, overtime hours etc…
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Law, Management or equivalent
+2 years of experience within an HR function as a generalist or combination of generalist and specialist experience
Sound knowledge of local and relevant employment legislation
Strong computer skills. Highly valuable Workday knowledge
Good problem-solving, judgment and decision-making skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Very high degree discretion and confidentiality
Strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask, prioritize and plan routine activities
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the Central team in Amsterdam and HR colleagues, coworkers etc…
