Located in Largo in the heart of Prince George’s County, our new state-of-the-art regional medical center (UM Capital Region Medical Center) will provide improved access to primary and ambulatory care services, and serve as a tertiary care center for critically ill patients. In addition, our new space will allow us to expand our offerings as a community partner to help improve the health status of Prince George’s County residents.

General Summary
Under the general supervision of the Corporate Director of Patient and Family Experience, the incumbent
manages patient relations and complaint activity. Serves as liaison between the patients, their families, and the
organization’s departments, administration, and physicians for thorough and timely resolution of issues,
concerns, and complaints. The Manager assists departmental leadership in developing and implementing
service improvement actions plans across UM Capital Region, as well as provides administrative and data
analysis support. Acts as the organization’s HIPAA / Privacy Officer assuring adherence to all HIPAA and
privacy of information regulations and standards.
What You Need to Be Successful:
Preferred: Masters degree in health related field
Completed Course Work/Program: Bachelors of Science degree in a health related field.
Applicable Experience
Experience (years): Required: 3+ years Preferred: 5 – 7 years
