Description : Key Responsibilities:
Educate, train and support physicians, hospital personnel and hospital staff on technical matters related to clinical products and procedures through conducting and/or coordinating training sessions and clinical education programs.
Work independently in the areas of valve crimping, case management, pre-case planning, post-case management, patient screening, Therapy Awareness program management and clinical education programs.
Partner with Marketing team to develop key opinion leaders in the market who will work with Edwards for the development of Education and Training. Collaborate with Sales Managers to develop focused education plans for key accounts and potential accounts to support sales strategies.
Establish solid relationships with appropriate levels of clinical/management in hospitals by offering Education Excellence.
Other duties assigned by Leadership.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in in Life Sciences or related field.
8 years years experience of experience in clinician education, patient education, product specialist or management role Required.
Additional Skills:
Extensive clinical skills preferably medically trained to ICU/CCU, Cathlab or OR-nurse/technician level. Clinical skills specifically in cardiac surgery or interventional cardiology preferred.
Ability to handle complex projects, and demonstrates problem solving and judgment skills.
Good level of commercial skills and business acumen.
Good analytical, detail-oriented, organized and information seeking skills.
Good organization and time management skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives.
Strict attention to detail.
Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control.
