Description : We are seeking a PART TIME Medical Assistant to work Tuesday, Wendesday and Thursday each week in Herndon, VA.Clinical DutiesPrepping exam rooms for clinical procedures and assisting physician during outpatient procedures and other physical examsRecording patient vital signs, monitoring and documenting patient symptoms for physician review during clinical examination.Documenting physician notesProviding compassionate patient support and care, attention and assistance during office visitsAdministrative DutiesStocking medical suppliesManaging office phone systems, including taking and returning patient calls, scheduling patient appointments, and maintaining communication to confirm future appointmentsInteracting with other offices for patient referralsWorking with billing department on prior authorizations servicesDocumenting patient medical information, including medical history and health insurance informationPerforming data entry tasks to document patient records within facility databases and maintaining patient filesRequirementsHigh school diploma or GEDExcellent interpersonal and communication skills and attention to detailProficient in administrative tasksBasic understanding of clinical tasksJob Type: Part-timePay: $20.00 – $26.00 per hourSchedule:8 hour shiftWork Location: One location
