The Team
The Sales Team’s mission is to ensure that we build an amazing product each year by providing a great selection of offers to our members on the app, including dining, beauty, fitness, leisure, entertainment, retail, services, and e-commerce across all seven Emirates. We build long-lasting relationships with our merchant partners to ensure successful and ongoing collaborations between the two parties, and have offers available on the app that would cater to any taste and any occasion all year around. Our “feet are always on the street” as we continuously keep an eye on new projects, developments and venues opening up across the UAE with a view to securing their participation on the app.
As New Business Lead you will…
Look after a team of 4-5 salespeople (Business Development Executives) who will hunt for new business targeting the F&B (dine-in and delivery), Leisure, Entertainment, Beauty & Fitness, Fashion & Retail, Services, and E-commerce industries
Act as a hunter too – lead by example – manage sales cycles from prospecting to closing across Dubai & Northern Emirates
Empower your team to deliver results and assist them to achieve their quarterly and yearly targets
Mentor, coach and guide your team
Develop strategies around increasing merchant acquisition for your team
Track data and insights around trends, both internally and externally and use these insights to identify opportunities to further grow the business as well as protect the business from any potential risks
Deliver reports using this data and use this to analyze, measure and evaluate your team’s performance
Build and maintain relationships with merchant partners and support them throughout the year with tactical promotions
Prepare a variety of status reports, including daily activity, closings, follow-ups, and adherence to KPIs by your team

Experience required
Minimum 3 years of business development, account management and team management experience. FMCG/Food & Beverage/ Hospitality industry is preferred
Strong negotiator with an outgoing and motivated outlook
Strong communication skills
A ‘can-do’ attitude to take on new challenges in a fast-paced work environment
You should be familiar with the territory’s business environment and trends
You should have a car and know your territory in and out
Salesforce and other CRM experience beneficial
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Work, Power Point
