Description : Oracle is currently seeking an experienced Performance engineer to assist in performance test scripting and debugging issues and for our Insurance applications. These are cloud and web-based, service-oriented, multi-tiered, client-server JEE implementations built using Oracle technologies.
Required Skills:
•Expertise in performance testing script development using various protocols like Web- HTTP/HTML, Web Services.
• Hands-on experience in Performance Tools like HP Load Runner, JMeter, BlazeMeter etc.
.Must have Jmeter hands-on experience of 3+ years
•Good understanding of JVM tuning, GC logs, Memory leaks, JConsole, JVisualVM, and AWR, ADDM report analysis and NMON reports.
•Good knowledge of installing WebLogic Server and Oracle database servers on the OCI
•Worked on deploying the application builds, importing/exporting database schemas, Configuring data sources in the app server, configuring the application in the Performance environments etc.
•Assists in the diagnosis and resolution of an issue, including the determination and provision of workaround solutions or escalation to BAs.
.Identifying load test scenarios & able to design workload model
•Identifies Performance Test Framework enhancements or modifications made at client sites in order to meet project functional requirements or to meet ongoing compliance need
Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform detailed design based on provided high level design specifications. Assist in system planning, scheduling and implementation. Build enhancements (including new product features) and resolve bugs. Build and execute unit test and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Interact with QA and porting engineering about problems in the code.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience.
