Description : About the roleAs a Project Manager in Numatic you will be using your strong engagement and project governance skills to ensure that our business’ technology solutions are delivered in line with our commitments and drive the expected business and customer outcomes.The role will be varied and interesting. We are currently going through a period of change and as a result you will be involved with broad range of projects and technologies; being responsible for the delivery of these against business objectives, technology principles and customer goals.You will be the custodian of a transparent governance approach ensuring that progress, risks and issues are understood and effectively managed, whilst also making sure that we highlight and celebrate our successes.Duties and responsibilities· Collaborate with stakeholders to define and agree achievable project plans to drive clear business outcomes.· Ensure that risks, issues, assumptions, decisions and dependencies are effectively documented, and escalated quickly for decision making where required.· Effectively manage scope/manage change.· Report and govern progress against project/programme commitments and resource allocations.· Consolidate functional and business plans into comprehensive end to end project plans; not only considering IT changes but the full implementation cycle including business readiness.· Maintain adherence of projects against committed spend; ensuring that any expected deviation is quickly articulated and agreed with senior stakeholders.· Interface with expected solution assurance bodies, such as TDA and Security Forums.· Chair Sponsor Review sessions.· Facilitate Retrospectives/Lessons Learnt sessions.· Contribute to the broader change agenda with the IT & DS Team.Support knowledge sharing within the department.About you· Relevant knowledge through proven work experience in a similar Project Management position· Desirable; Degree level in either Computing, Technology, Supply Chain or Business Management subject, or other relevant IT/Project Management professional qualification.· Proven experience in managing the delivery of complex IT projects to a high standard and against agreed commitments.· Experience in defining and agreeing project plans, outcomes and deliverables.· Strong stakeholder management experience, with excellent and creative engagement/presentation skills.· RAID management skills.· Migration planning.· Coordination of go-live readiness reviews/approvals with compliance to deployment controls.· Understanding of how core applications within a business interact and the challenges that this presents when delivering new business technology solutions.· Strong commercial awareness.· Supplier management skills.· Understanding of business readiness and implementation activities.· Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing and business validation activities.· Agile delivery experience· Project delivery experience in one or more of the following enterprise capabilities: Digital – web, mobile, IoT Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Human Resource (HR).· DevOps/DevSecOps· JIRA, MS ProjectSalary: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum depending on experience Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per yearBenefits:Company pensionCycle to work schemeOn-site parkingWellness programmesSchedule:Monday to FridayApplication deadline: 11/02/2022
