Doxel is here to change that.

By contextualizing vast amounts of disparate project data across site, BIM, schedule, and budget, Doxel empowers teams with an objective view of their project today and an accurate prediction of where it will be tomorrow. Leveraging machine generated and prioritized risk analysis, teams are guided to the right problems in order to stay ahead of cost overruns and schedule delays.
Backed by Insight Partners and Andreessen Horowitz and with a growing team of technologists, creatives, and industry veterans, we’re focused on helping customers realize the best outcomes on their construction projects.
The Role
As the founding member of our quality team you’ll be charged with diagnosing both our quality problems, as well as the best way to solve them. We are looking for someone who thinks broadly about solving technical problems whether we need a new tool, a new test, or a new step in our engineering methodology. Ultimately, you’ll impact the usability and quality of the entire Doxel products suite as well as the experience of our customers.
You’ll be immediately responsible for ensuring a high bar for the accuracy of our analytics & the delightfulness of our Web experience. You’ll work cross-discipline with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to design and implement the processes and tools to keep that bar as we scale. And finally, you’ll be responsible for hiring out the rest of the QA team!
Responsibilities
Start Doxel’s QA team. Implement all the process and test strategies from zero. Hire out the rest of the team as Doxel grows!
Own Doxel’s quality results, tell the engineering team when we’ve incorporated enough of and the right type of testing, and call out complex issues to the group, so they can be solved in the most robust way.
Move fast – we are not seeking perfection – we are seeking great results
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Designers, Product Managers, Customer Support, and Operations as needed.
Responsible for development of test strategies, frameworks, and test harnesses.
Evaluate product functionality and create test strategies and test cases to assess product quality.
Execute tests on our weekly releases for our Web app and data pipeline.
