Working in the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU), a high-tech children’s services area for critically ill, medically complex and/or post-surgical patients, pediatric intensive care nursing jobs also involve collaboration with families, physicians and other healthcare professionals or clinicians to determine the best course of patient care and recovery.Education Requirements· Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited Nursing School/University· Post graduate training in PICU / Critical care preferred· Current BLS Certificate· Current PALS CertificateLicenses, Registrations & Certifications Requirements· Current DoH Nursing License· Current Home Country licenseProfessional Experience Required (Relevant to the Job)· At least 3 years clinical experience post qualification· Not less than 2 years’ experience in paediatric critical care nursing.Working Conditions / Environment· The incumbent will be required to work during weekends, public holidays and nights.· May be required to work overtime depending on the needs of the Organization.· This job may require the ability to continuously stand or walk.
