What we’re looking for
We are looking for a motivated and talented QA Engineer who is passionate about testing software through automation. The Ideal candidate should be able to understand product requirements and provide info for both product and devs, in order to reduce risks and increase quality and stability. You will be presented with opportunities to grow and learn with emphasis on excellence in software engineering along with enhancing your knowledge and skills within the Automation, DevOps, and Quality Assurance

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Design and develop test automation using internal and open source tools & infrastructure.
Develop testing strategy, plans, estimates, and schedule, to support projects and product releases.
Design, create and maintain testing framework(s) as needed.
Track the development process of the product from start to finish.
Collaborate with software engineers to understand product architecture and features and build code in a clean and testable manner.
Execute end to end front end testing and backend load testing.
Identify, record and track bugs.
Monitor debugging process results.
Communicate test results to the team and help prioritize and resolve any issues.
Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software.
Responsible for driving the software development process toward quality-centric methodologies.
Collaborate with the Product Development and other cross-functional teams to ensure consistent project execution.
Review and critique technical requirements and existing software design specifications implementation.
Ensure quality of all codes and products produced by the company.
Stay abreast with new testing tools and test strategies.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s Degree or Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering (related field) or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of software QA experience.
Experience in writing test plans, test automation, or test cases.
Strong experience testing RESTful APIs (Postman, Runscope, RESTAssured, ARC etc.)
Experience with functional UI test automation frameworks like Selenium.
Exposure to SQL and NoSQL Databases.
Experience with app test automation frameworks like Appium.
Experience with Puppeteer testing would be an add on.
Experience writing E2E tests with Cypress and writing BDD tests with Cucumber would be a plus.
Good to have exposure working with cloud-based testing platforms like BrowserStack, Sauce Labs or Firebase Test Lab.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools.
Strong SQL & NoSQL skills.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Continuous desire to learn new things.
Strong attention to detail, ability to follow through, and strong organizational skills.
Ability to handle pressure and deliver results on time without compromising the quality.
