Managing our development team, post holders will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the products thatwe build, solving problems and developing new features through quality, scalable and maintainable technical solutions. Post holders will have excellent knowledge and demonstrable experience of development tools such as JavaScript, CSS, HTML, UTrack, and Google Firebase. You’ll be comfortable working in Front End or Back End systems, with the ability to learn pick up new languages/technology quickly
Product work includes such things as:
Long term condition patient app development
Patient flow and ward management applications
Innovation warehouse architecture
New innovation ways to flow and visualise data for clinicians and operations

Experience
Essential criteria
Experience in providing alternative solution approaches to deliver comparable capabilities with associated expressions of cost, risk, timescales to support evidence-based decisions.
Significant knowledge in software development, architecture and design with experience of Microsoft C# or equivilent platforms and tools; including knowledge of software delivery methodologies, information processing & standards, security, infrastructure and information governance.
Knowledge of delivering and operating end-toend from writing code to operating / maintaining, and continuous improvement.
Proven experience of technically building and leading a software development team, solving complex enterprise problems, developing such capabilities within teams and through the coordination of external suppliers.
Proven experience in facilitating a learning culture in a collaborative team setting which values patterns and practices over specific technology implementations.
Experience in driving adoption and acquisition of new skills in teams when working with new technologies.
Experience of engineering a large or complex system requiring the introduction of new or optimised exploitation of existing technologies
Desirable criteria
Experience and ability to adopt and adapt a propriate system design methods, tools and techniques to ensure they are applied effectively for successful deliveries.
Education and Qualifications
Essential criteria
Educated to masters level or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level in specialist area.
Practical experience or formal training in any relevant or adjacent delivery discipline (e.g. software development, delivery management, project management) OR completed study at postgraduate level.
