Team and Position Summary:
We are the Strategy & Operations (“StratOps”) team, and we are continuously raising organizational effectiveness by leading high-impact strategic programs. Our charter involves solving complex problems that require cross-functional collaboration and engagement with senior leaders/high impact technology teams across the organization.
• • We strategize and execute horizontal programs that leverage deep competencies in respective technical and functional areas.
• • We pave the way to future growth by cross-pollinating best practices and running cross-functional strategic programs.
• • We focus on tech initiatives, operations program management and tech skill enablement & learning, in addition to working with leadership on long-range strategic planning and companywide initiatives.
And, we’re now looking for a strong Program Manager (Technical Programs) to join our team, and that could be you!
Do you have an experience between 5 and 10 years in product development and technology management space?
Do you have prior experience in product development and various phases of product development life cycle ?
Do you like to program manage and drive complex change across the organization ?
Position Responsibilities:
You will own and execute enterprise-level technology programs to successful outcomes, in our continual mission to raise the bar of tech culture at Walmart. You need to be extremely comfortable working with diverse teams (sometimes across different time zones) as well as collaborating with peers at all levels across our global organization. You should be able to build strong networks and deep partnerships both inside and outside the organization. You will need well-honed deep analytical and assimilation skills, possess extraordinary ability to influence key stakeholders and extremely articulate with written and oral communication skills.

Minimum qualifications:
We are looking for :
• • A strong tech foundation as an engineering (bachelors) or sciences (masters) degree preferably in Computer Science followed by 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience as a hands-on techie in software product environment in various roles in diverse technologies with an understanding of architectural paradigms, design patterns and software assets.
• • A relevant experience in managing large programs and driving organizational change. Experience in delivering technology projects. World class program management skills.
• • Strong communication skills, attention to details, business operations, project management & cross-group collaboration skills. Influence the key Business Stakeholders, Engineering/Product Leaders, and Executive sponsors.
Additional Qualifications:
Knowledge/Experience in Adobe Experience Manager, Web Design/Development Technologies.
Aware of the key technology trends and a thorough understanding of cloud technologies.
Exposure to retail technology would be preferred.
Ability to participate and drive the architecture meetings.
