Description : Lifespan & Bradley Hospital are hiring! We are currently searching for licensed Social Workers at Bradley Hospital! Programs include Project REACH, Child Life Department, Access Center, Child SAFEQUEST, Pediatric Anxiety Research Center, The Bradley Center, the Children’s & Adolescent Inpatient Units and more!Responsibilities for these positions include:· Provide direct clinical services to children & families, including case management, coordinating clinical services, and discharge planning· Complete bio-psychosocial evaluations to eliminate barriers to treatment, discharge & enhance the patient’s health status and improve utilization of resources· Develop treatment plans and initiates clinical intervention, utilizing individual and group treatment modalities, and analyzes course and result of treatment to maximize health status and increase health care decision making· Provide education to assist patients and families in understanding, accepting and following medical and social work recommendations designed to restore the patient to optimum functioning within their capacity· Assess patient and family advocacy needs and coordinate appropriate advocacy activities within the hospital and in the community with an emphasis on self-determination for the client system with the aim at improving social supports and community resources· Provide field placement supervision and evaluation for BSW and/or MSW degree candidates as part of the Department of Clinical Social Work Student programRequirements for these positions include:· Masters Degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate school of Social Work or related field, required· Current professional license from State of RI as a Licensed Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Independent Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), required· 6 months-1 year of clinical experience preferably in a health or mental health setting with an emphasis on working with children/adolescents/teensLifespan is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
