An exciting new role has become available for a keyworker to join our special needs nursery team at Snapdragons. We provide assessment and therapeutic intervention for children with additional needs who are yet to attend a mainstream nursery setting. Working alongside a qualified nursery nurse you will plan and undertake the sessions, considering specific needs of the individual children attending.
You will be involved in planning and setting up of nursery style sessions in our purpose built environment.
Assessment of children attending the session, taking into consideration motor coordination, communication, social interaction and educational needs.
Deliverance of therapy plan as outlined and handed over by a qualified therapist.
Feedback to clinicians involved with the child to enable grading of the individual plan.
Signpost parents to additional support groups/clubs.
Recording of information on electronic notes system

Experience of working with children with additional needs
Experience of working in a nursery setting.
