JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven individual who will achieve a high level of customer satisfaction for our Human Resources customers. This is a functional SAP role within the Americas Applications team, primarily focusing on utilizing HR business process expertise, business analysis skills, and broader SAP HCM expertise to develop and maintain solutions that align with business requirements and processes.
Job Purpose & Responsibilities
As an SAP ERP HCM Specialist, you will be part of a Regional SAP Support team focusing on the support and maintenance of Human Capital Management processes and solutions in the areas of Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Time Management (TM), Talent Acquisition (TA), Training and Event Management, Learning, Performance Management, Compensation Management, and Payroll & Benefits (PY & BEN) supporting our Polymers, Chemicals, and Specialties business units.
Partner with a Global IT COE and regional Human Resources customers throughout the Americas to:
Ensure the timely resolution of user incidents and issues.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements.
Perform analysis on new business requirements
Adhere to project schedules and meet predefined timelines.
Communicate status reports to stakeholders.
Consult with business power users in developing and implementing detailed test scenarios and execution of those scenarios.
Perform configuration on SAP HCM modules to support business enhancements and existing functionalities.
Collaborate with the ABAP developers, consultants, and the quality assurance team, to develop and test significant new functionality enhancements.
Handling configuration and customization of all HCM modules.
Documentation of functional specs, report specs, testing and configuration changes.
Collaborate on the development of system enhancements (user-exits and Z reports) with the technical team.
Supporting, troubleshooting and resolving SAP authorization issues.
Performs other projects/duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a Commercial discipline with a Human Resources background.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in global industry or IT environment.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience with SAP with a focus on supporting and configuring SAP HCM modules.
Experience supporting ESS/ MSS/ Manager desktop in Enterprise portal and Fiori
Ability to balance the demands of projects, customer expectations, support, and operational requirements in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Ability to translate business needs to technical resources and to communicate and simplify complex technical information for non-technical users.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong business acumen and high level of professionalism.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet given deadlines.
Cultural sensitivity and a ‘global mindset’.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desired Experience & Skills
Certification in SAP HCM related modules
Experience supporting and configuring Success Factors and/or Employee Central
Involvement with at least 2 end to end SAP HCM project implementations
Knowledge of ITIL® policies and procedures including Incident, Problem and Change Management
