Description : Position Summary
The Specialist IT Support – Application Delivery and Support Management is a temporary role lasting for 12 months. This role is part of the IT Airport Operations Products Team. The Specialist will provide assistance to the team with various daily, weekly and monthly tasks. They will work on the development and transformation of project and support process reporting by assisting Product Manager, Project Managers, IT Manager, and other project resources via education sessions, development of documentation, defining and implementing new processes as needed, and analyzing resource data to improve support and forecasting techniques. The Specialist handles sensitive and confidential information and possesses good organizational, coordination, and collaboration skills.
Essential Responsibilities
Work with IT Airport Operations Product team to roll-out any new processes
Support the development of portfolio based reports
Assist with ongoing development and administration of support processes
Creation of process and training materials/programs, along with execution to the team
Work with team to support the creation of business cases for potential projects
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
One (1) year of computer application experience
Working knowledge of MS Office, namely Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Word, and Project
Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments
Ability to work well under limited supervision in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and diplomacy
Strong research, analytical, problem-solving and decision making capabilities
Available for occasional overnight travel (less than 10%)
Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience analyzing operational or financial data.
Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office Products
Highly motivated and self-directed with the ability to see the long term vision
Experience with Project and Portfolio Management tools
Hands on experience managing projects and/or PMP Certification
Experience preparing effective presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint

Regular attendance and punctuality
Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
Able to maintain a professional appearance
When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
