Role Responsibility
As Still-Life Production Manager, you will be responsible for managing our photographic e-commerce shoot workflow for categories such as Women’s and Men’s Accessories, Home, Childrenswear including toys, Flowers, and Food & Wine. There is also a creative aspect for seasonal and all-year-round Hampers plus chef-prepared experience boxes requiring a higher level of Production, budget, and project management.
You will be able to confidently lead and motivate shoot teams and stakeholders (internal and external) whilst multi-tasking daily, adapting quickly to updates, spot potential issues before they happen, communicate clearly and concisely, and have superb attention to detail – both visually and numerically. It’s key you can demonstrate knowledge of best practices, showcasing initiative, implementing changes and being solution focussed. Previous experience in a high volume, high-quality Photostudio Production environment is a must.
Reporting into the Senior Production Manager, this role requires a self-starter and forward thinker who can grasp workflows and new systems quickly. As a Still-Life Production Manager, you will:
Manage Still-Life photographic workflow – operational efficiency, scheduling, resourcing, quality, and queries – through to go-live within SLA and KPIs
Lead communication and collaboration with stakeholders such as other Photostudio teams, Product Lifecycle, Buying & Merchandising, Digital Merchandising & Optimisation on key launches/priorities
QA imagery before retouch, checking product shot adheres to style guidelines
Weekly and monthly reporting – numbers, productivity, commentary
Oversee budgets and track spend, contributing to forecasts by pulling/searching data when required
Sample management – delivery tracking, procuring data, dummy SKUs, returning to brand, etc.
Produce shoots for Flowers, Hampers, Experience Boxes, digital/social/marketing briefs that sit out of BAU
Map out new processes and improvements
Maintain style guidelines for Still-Life Photography
Cover other duties in team absences
The Ideal Candidate
5+ years’ industry experience in an e-commerce Photostudio environment, 2+ years’ as a Senior Producer and a creative portfolio showcasing Still- Life Production
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
Knowledge of Photoshop, Scene7 and digital asset systems desirable
Highly process and productivity-driven
Strong communication & problem-solving skills
Ability to work well as part of a wider team and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Ability to organise, multi-task and prioritise workload – using time management skills
Flexibility and willingness to work around shoot times
Proven ability to work to tight deadlines
Exceptional attention to detail, numerically and visually
Highly organised and quick thinking.
Passionate and understands the photographic and fashion industry
