Description : EQUANS are recruiting for a Technical Service Manager to be based in Wakefield at the Pinderfields and Pontefract Hospitals. This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Technical Services Manager (TSM) is part of the team of site-based leads for all mechanical, electrical and building fabric technical service delivery.
What will you deliver?
Management of all activities within the Technical Services team to meet and exceed the contracted service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Establish and maintain effective business relationships with all key stakeholders, customers, partners, contractors and other third parties to deliver best practice services.
Meet compliance with all statutory requirements in relation to safe working practices and safe operation of plant, equipment and services and all activities essential to meet all relevant Health Technical Memoranda (HTM) and Quality Assurance requirements
Drive continuous improvement with the team, ensuring the local interface between other FM Service Teams, NHS staff, Project Co and Customers at all levels to deliver as one team, develops staff and ensures provision of mandatory and best practice training required to enable them to meet the requirements of their role.
Assist with the production of the monthly report to the client and customer and provides accurate and punctual information in relation to planned and reactive maintenance, small works, damages, contract variations and lifecycle works

Who are we looking for?
A technical background within an electrical bias, preferably having had significant exposure to a Healthcare environment
Ability to apply technical/procedural knowledge to correctly address a situation in a timely manner and thinks of ways to apply new developments to improve organisational performance or customer services.
Demonstrates technical leadership
Must have (or be able to obtain) Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) clearance.
