You will play an important role in helping MatchMove scale as the leading BAAS provider in Southeast Asia. You will innovate on architecture, write impactful software, and generally contribute to enhancing output across the Technology Team.You will get the opportunity to contribute to:Develop, manage and maintain a cross-regional, B2B payment transactions systems at scaleBuilding robust and world-class experiences for our customersSupport internal and external consumers of your Product.Ensuring a robust, self-healing end to end automated payment infrastructureHandling localizations and regulatory requirements across various regions.Responsibilities:Design, develop and maintain large, complex projects.Scrutinize, rationalize, defend and own significant technology and architecture decisions are taken.Work with stakeholders across the organization to ensure comprehensive delivery.Drive predictability in terms of engineering output and the product roadmap.Requirements:We are hiring senior backend engineers with 6-8 years of engineering experienceGood OOP skills combined with solid SDLC practices like code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and continuous integrationStrong in-depth knowledge of PHP or GO is required.Experience with transactional RDBMS such as MySQL & Postgres along with strong fundamentals of schema designStrong debugging and problem-solving skills across the whole tech stack – language, databases, web servers, and system environmentSolid design and architecture experience, as well as knowledge and experience with object-oriented design patternsExperience in a git-based code management workflow is a must.Understanding of best practices for securing your code.Strong grasp of enterprise software design patterns and data structures.Experience in engineering support of a product through a PDLC.Strong hands-on knowledge of cloud-based deployments and workflows and understanding of scaling code in production and debugging for a performance bottleneckHaving a Team-oriented approach so as to effectively participate with team members across regions, as well as work cross-functionally with other organizations.Additional Skills:Act as a strong advocate for clean and scalable coding principlesParticipate in formal and informal code reviews to ensure code qualityBe a champion of high-performance, secure, and reliable software servicesIdentify critical non-functional requirements for the work your team is prioritizing (security, performance, scalability, etc.)Provide technical leadership for your team across all phases of our software development lifecycleVocal, passionate, and driven about solving problems via engineering.Advocate for ways to remediate technical debt on an ongoing basisStrong, active advocacy for technical standards and quality across MatchMoveBrownie Points:Experience with PaymentsProduction Experience with modern engineering and cloud toolsKnowledge of a scripting languageHaving previously worked on a Microservices based architectureA technical blog, a public GitHub repo, or contributions to open source projectsCulture at MatchMove:We at MatchMove are all singularly focused on building the next generation of embedded Banking-as-a-Service, for all types of organizations, from every segment of the economy.
