Description : WCF Ltd is a private company, partly owned by its employees, operating a number of autonomous businesses focused on niche retailing, specialist distribution and leisure in the UK.We are recruiting to an exciting new Website Marketing Manager position within our WCF Home Shopping business,based at our head office in the picturesque town of Brampton, Cumbria.As the Website Marketing Manager of a portfolio of several mail-order clothing brands, you will be responsible for nurturing 3 individual brand websites, focussing on the sale of clothing and homeware products direct to consumers.The Role: As part of the role, you will:Be responsible for the website’s continued development and maintenance, ensuring the current personalised experience enjoyed by our customers remains as they transition onlineFocus on conversion – you will attract visitors to the sites by using effective natural SEO, paid digital advertising, email campaigns and social mediaOversee the production of content that will optimise the site rankings and convert prospects into customers – and customers into repeat and loyal buyersBe responsible for the user interface of the website, ensuring a frictionless user experience of an online transaction, as well as adopting up-sell and cross-sell techniques to maximise revenuesBe involved in the development of content and design of the websites in line with our brand guidelines, overseeing such matters like security, data protection, online marketing and content team managementWork closely with any 3rd party agencies or in-house development teams, ensuring the interface and structure suits the profile of the customerEnsure the back-office ecommerce system is easy to use by administrators and that our social media and additional plug-ins are seamlessly integrated, allowing our customer the best experience, however they choose to shopMonitor traffic and bounce rates and identify improvements to customer experience to increase conversion, making sure that customer preferences and security are always robustEnsure that the content of the website reflects our brand values, is accurate, up to date and incorporates video, social media, live chat, SMS and any other third-party platform the customer might expect from their online shopping experienceLead and mentor a team that keeps every aspect of the website running, ensuring the best possible page rank and domain authorityPlan ahead and agree campaigns and strategies for online marketing activity including the creation of articles, blogs, social media posts and email marketing campaignRegularly survey customers to gauge sentiment to support product development, new opportunities and monitor customer service levels.Customer service is paramount to all that we do here at WCF.
