Young People’s Experienced Social Worker (Emerald Team)
Our Young People’s service is made up of Youth Offending, Emerald, and Stronger Families Team. We have a rare opportunity to join our dynamic Emerald Team, which focuses on working with young people and adolescents, (aged 10-17 years) who are vulnerable to or at risk of exploitation.

About the role
You will work collaboratively with our multi-agency partners, including Police colleagues, to investigate and proactively target perpetrators of exploitation, location hotspot and association mapping.
Managing a caseload, you will be responsible for a range of safeguarding activities to reduce the risks young people face and support them away from exploitation.

About you
You will have a qualified Social Worker England registration and a track record of engaging with vulnerable young people, knowledge of the risk and indicators of exploitation, as well as adolescent development.
We will look to you to possess extensive experience of working with young people at risk of exploitation, sound safeguarding knowledge and practice, and a passion for direct work with young people.
