Description : The Account Director is a leading role within the Client Services team, reporting to the Agency Director. You’ll need to be a seasoned operator at this level – used to managing a team and driving value to clients from brief creation through to delivery.RoleSpecifically, your role is to:Build and nurture positive and profitable client relationshipsLead and direct the acquisition and delivery of client work, adding value through the processBe a solution provider; adapting to or adapting the process to ensure seamless management of accountsYour role will be directly responsible for: Strategically owning the client relationship (multiple accounts and clients)Achieving business commercial metrics and targets across your accountsManaging a small team of account managers/account executives – developing, mentoring and progressing them with youPromoting best practice client servicing and project delivery across the businessYou must be able to: Work at a strategic level across integrated campaigns – leading on and creating proposals and strategic responsesHave confidence in delivering client work across the breadth of integrated campaigns – including digital, print, social, creative, outdoor and contentWork across multiple clients and accounts simultaneously – providing best practice client servicing to eachSet and manage objective development for more junior members of team – ensuring the team is utilised to target metrics, motivated with progression plans and supported on day to day deliveryManage upwards – keeping them informed and advised on relevant client developments, but also utilising and leveraging their experience to build upon account and relationshipsYour responsibilities: Strategically support and advise clients across the Halo relevance propositionDemonstrate internally an understanding of clients wider marketing goals and development plans to achieveIdentify and optimise individual client value to the business – achieving baseline targets and demonstrating client development plans to achieve stretch targetsLead the wider business team to respond to opportunities in a timely and surprise and delighting mannerBuild and nurture a team of self-reliant client service professionals (recruitment, training and personal development)Needs diligent, consistent attention to detail and management of administrative aspect of clients and supporting teamEnsure reporting of campaign performance provides clients with progress vs just metrics, as well as providing actionable insights and recommendations in a timely and ‘buyable’ manner for the clientBe proactive in achieving profitability and efficiency across all clients and projects in the team – having insight into all job costs and supporting Account Managers with recommendations where required and training AE’s on the process of understandingLead creative and tech resources into producing the best work possible (going beyond the brief, the support and more into the ideation and strategic direction itself)Show active desire to be involved in wider business activities and offer ‘mentor’ support to wider account teams and junior members of staffHave insight and proactiveness on client development that is recognised in client growth and internal engagement with client setBe ahead of your team in regards to client set – showing a more proactive approach in growth opportunities – managing information up in a timely and positive mannerBe involved in winning new business and onboarding new clients.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: Up to £40,000.00 per yearBenefits:Casual dressCompany eventsCompany pensionOn-site parkingSick payWork from homeSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayEducation:Bachelor’s (preferred)Experience:Marketing: 5 years (preferred)Work remotely:No
