Position Summary
It is anticipated that this is a 24-month position directly aligned to the life of the ERP project. The position is located onsite at ICAP offices on the Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC) campus in New York City. The Application Development and Integration Support Lead will support the transition and integration of data from current applications to the ERP.
Responsibilities
Maps and plans integrations between existing applications, the ERP, and its extensions.
Manages a master schedule of integration processes, tracking all requirements and deliverables throughout the design, build, test, and deployment phases of the project.
Leads impact assessments of integration requirements to the technical architecture of the ERP system.
Facilitates transitions from functional to technical for integration, including gathering process requirements and transition from functional design to technical design, build, and test.
Identifies system integration issues and communicates them to appropriate project team leads and project management, implementing remediation actions, as appropriate.
Serves as the primary focal point for transition planning of existing systems, processes, and data into new ERP system.
Assists with the preparation and presentation of workshops and trainings, as needed.
Prepares for and executes functional testing.
Tracks and reports progress, issues, and risks.
Performs other duties, as assigned, in support of the project.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education and experience in Computer Science, Computer Programming, Mathematics, Accounting, or other related disciplines.
At least five (5) years of related business experience with financial systems implementation, or large-scale change initiatives.
Experience in database querying, data warehouse modeling, data analysis and report design.
Ability to prepare reports, summaries and analyses and present findings and recommendations.
Demonstrated planning and project management skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to collect and analyze data and evaluate information.
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Performs other duties, as assigned, in support of the project.
Other Requirements
Up to 4 trips of international travel, lasting 2-3 weeks in duration will be required.
