Description : The Opportunity
Zayed University’s College of Business open positions at the rank of Assistant Professor in Finance. The start date is August 2021 (though a start date of January 2022 may also be considered). All the positions are in our Abu Dhabi campus. Candidates for this position should be specialized in Financial Markets; Corporate Finance and Financial Econometrics. Successful applicants will be expected to teach finance courses to undergraduate and graduate students. Successful applicants will also be expected to conduct high quality academic research with output published in highly regarded academic journals. The successful candidate will also be required to actively engage in various college and university committees.
The Requirements
Applicants should have completed a PhD in Finance preferably from an AACSB or EQUIS accredited business school from a QS ranked university.
Applicants for the position of Assistant Professor who are obtained PhD recently must provide evidence of the potential for high quality research. Experienced candidates are expected to show evidence of prior publication. Teaching experience in a university environment is highly desirable.
