The Role @ Sumo:
As our Build Engineer, you’ll design, develop, optimize and maintain robust build and test systems to empower our talented team to create great games. You’ll collaborate with engineers, QA specialists and content creators to identify unmet build system requirements and deliver novel solutions that improve the quality of life and efficiency of these groups.
To be succesful you will have:
A strong desire to create and maintain build systems and tools that improve the quality of life of our game teams.
Experience with build automation tools, such as TeamCity or Jenkins
Experience with version control technologies, such as Perforce, Git or Subversion
Excellent proactive communication and listening skills
It would also be advantageous if you have:
Experience developing GUI Tools in C#
Familiarity with console build processes
Familiarity with using cloud services, such as AWS, for builds storage/distribution
