We understand that many people have priorities outside work such as: looking after children & pets, caring for relatives/friends or you may simply want a good work/life balance.Who we’re looking for: We’re looking for creative, problem-solving detectives who enjoy the detail and getting to the heart of matters by working with our customers’ stakeholders, reviewing documentation, processes and systems in order to translate their current position to a future state, helping them to build leaner, more efficient ways of working that delight their teams and improve the experience of their customers! You’ll have experience of working with different areas of a business from marketing through to finance and understand how it all works together.A key element of the role will involve identifying any gaps and efficiencies that could be gained in their processes, including looking at ways to automate processes.You’ll be helping to shape the future of our product for all customers of The Layer as any gaps will require you to detail requirements, note user stories and scope out possible solutions.Ideally, you’ll be an experienced Business Analyst with a history of working on similar projects, including experience of interviewing stakeholders, reviewing materials and documenting processes for software migration projects like enterprise software/ CRM.Alternatively, you may have experience of working in a telecoms/ IT business in a senior operations/ business systems management role with demonstrable experience of sourcing, designing and maintaining new systems.What you’ll contribute: BA Sessions· You’ll lead and host workshops for new customers to identify their current processes, noting any variance or omissions in functionality between their requirements and The Layer.· Review, analyze and document “as is” processes and translate to “to be” processes· Update the PM tool and assign out tasks for the PM/Coordinator· Present back and manage findings and recommendations with customers· Work with a PM to oversee internal run-throughs on a per module basis and provide feedback prior to customer presentations· Attend customer presentations to support the PM with any customer feedback and note this in the PM tool· Identify and assess viability of any project specific development work· Scope new project specific development work (see details below)· Oversee the delivery of development feature delivery· Present custom development options to customers· Oversee production of documentation for internal and external stakeholders· Oversee post-release issues· Sign off on final feature release· Feedback any potential features which would improve the product into our ideas systemPlease note there could be a requirement to attend scheduled customer site visits of 1-3 days duration. However, most of our BA sessions are being hosted remotely at present.Product Management· You’ll note any missing areas of functionality and work with specific customers and/or our wider customer base to design solutions which enhance the user experience· You’ll work alongside our product team on required features and help to design and shape the future of our appYour skills and experience: To excel in the role, we believe you’ll enjoy creating order from disjointed and disparate information sources.
