Job Summary:
With 50% YOY growth, we are looking to expand our business development team to handle the growing influx of new client requirements. We are looking for an energetic business development associate to support our business development operations and client engagements. You will attract potential new clients and assist in responding to RFPs/RFIs of Mobile, Web, Cloud, and IoT-based projects while maintaining existing client relationships and overseeing project deliveries by collaborating with our overseas development team.
Act as the single point of contact for potential new clients and coordinate client meetings and documentation.
Conduct high-level discovery calls to gather and document project requirements (functional and technical), scope, and objectives.
Assist in responding and bidding to the RFIs, RFP requests from potential new clients.
Assist in proposal writing and creating presentation decks, estimates, and statements of work for the project.
Develop sales strategies and pitches, and answer potential client questions and follow-up questions.
Make cold calls and send follow-up emails to potential clients to enable sales closure.
Close sales and work with the client throughout the closing process.
Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales goals.
Present the client requirements to the design and development team to design and deliver solutions as per client needs.
Manage accounts throughout the life cycle of a project once it is awarded to us.
Collaborate with overseas Project Manager and Development team and ensure seamless communication.
Assist in project management responsibilities like – project plans, people management, scope changes, and risk mitigation.
Manage and resolve client escalations and ensure client satisfaction to help increase revenue and develop lasting professional relationships.
Review and test the app performance from a user perspective against client requirements to ensure optimal quality.
Develop expertise in product knowledge, technical knowledge, and industry and process knowledge in relevant product areas.
Maintain a thorough understanding of the marketplace, competitors, and industry trends to identify new business opportunities.
Create positive, long-lasting relationships with existing clients and harvest new business opportunities.
Collaborate with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting.
Collaborate with management to retain and grow accounts.
Experience with mobile apps, websites, and cloud-based projects
Experience with analyzing and documenting software requirements
Experience with proposal writing, creating presentation decks, and responding to software development RFPs/RFIs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect, and interact with potential customers; excellent negotiation skills; perseverance
Excellent organizational, task, and team management skills
Aptitude to learn required tools, techniques etc. as per project requirements
Client service orientation and strong business acumen
Self-starter, quick learner, and goal-oriented
Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor
Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
Able to professionally and confidently communicate with C-Level Executives
